  • The History of the Reformation Roundtable:

Reformation International Ministries began around Andrew Shearman, as he sought to clarify a sound that he and many others have heard for several years. That sound was a sound of the increasing kingdom of God in the earth. Issues that continued to surface and resound in the hearts of leaders as they gathered together were issues of “the Kingdom of God”,  “the Priesthood of the Believers”, and “the Role of the Local Church Ministry” in the earth. There were many gatherings of leaders with hungry hearts throughout the 1990’s that laid the foundation for that which for a time was known as the Reformation Roundtable.

The Roundtable was first articulated to be Reformation International Ministries (RIM). The issue of the GRACE of God and the need to be involved in the continued Reformation of God in the life of the church became the hallmark of RIM’s existence. Many church leaders and individuals began to rally around a sound that declared God’s ability to disciple the nations through local church ministry by the continuation of God’s reforming grace and power. Apostolic roles began to become defined that would serve to raise up regional fathers who would equip the saints for the work of ministry. These regional fathers would seek to release the increasing life of God’s rising kingdom in local church expressions throughout the nations.

Some convictions of those who relate to R.I.M. are:

A Kingdom theology and the faith to see a victorious church and a global harvest rise in the earth. The issue is God’s field of “wheat” not “tares”. The issue is “harvest” and not “darkness”!

We see the raising up of the “Tabernacle of David” among the nations - A free Spirit of liberty and worship in the manifested presence of Christ. A freedom unto life and a breaking of the bands of religious bondage.

We actively pursue the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry by the fivefold ministry.

We believe in the priesthood of the believers and the work of Christ’s ministry through the saints.

We believe in the discipling of the nations through local church ministries.

We believe in the need of connecting through relationship rather then common purpose. It is out of relationship that common purpose will be found.
